This privately owned apartment, flooded with natural light, is located in Paris' fashionable third arrondissement, between the Marais and Les Halles districts. The space, in an elegant 18th-century hôtel particulier, overlooks a charming courtyard .
The state-of-the art kitchen is equipped with a Lacanche oven and a high granite counter. It comfortably accomodates up to twelve people for demonstrations or hands-on classes, with plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy the results after in the adjacent salon.

Paule Caillat, founder of Promenades Gourmandes,  welcomes Betty Edery Bitton in  a partnership that brings new flavors to the Salon Culinaire. Long time friends, Betty and Paule share a mutual quest for the best and both are skilled in transmitting their knowledge and experience.

Paule has been giving cooking classes and gourmet walking tours for fifteen years, introducing students from around the world to the joys of Parisian cuisine.
Betty, founder of Crème de la Crème, one of the finest french patisserie caterers in London, has an outstanding reputation for organizing top-of-the-range events for a very demanding clientele. After managing her own team for seventeen years, she moved to the sunny Côte d'Azur where she operated seven boulangerie-pâtisserie-traiteur outlets, adding her personal touch once again to catered and corporate events.

Betty first trained  with Yves Thuries, chocolatier and pastry chef, twice  awarded the prestigious "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" title,  and a respected figure of french gastronomy.

Betty gives pâtisserie classes  to amateurs seeking to improve their skills. Classes can cover both sweet and savoury techniques.

Master classes in pâtisserie will be scheduled  in 2012, with the participation of celebrated pastry chefs from France and elsewhere. Fabrice LeBourdat of Blé Sucré (wwwparisbymouth.com/ble-sucre), Christophe Felder (www.christophe-felder.com/), Aoki (www.sadaharuaoki.com), to name a few.

Bespoke events : for companies or any group from 4 to 15 people, we design a menu to suit  your needs and timeframe.
